Every enduring cause is carried by the people who refuse to look away, and Nar Seva Foundation in Ludhiana is no exception. The Foundation's healthcare and community work is guided by a committed leadership team - Founder BD Goyal, Strategic Advisor & Director Pankaj Garg, and Director Bhavna Goyal - supported by Manager Aashu Chugh and a wide circle of volunteers who share one simple belief: that service should be selfless and within everyone's reach.

The people who lead the Foundation

BD Goyal, Founder

Nar Seva Foundation began with the vision of its Founder, BD Goyal, who set out to build an organisation where the most vulnerable - dialysis patients, the elderly, and families in financial distress - could find dependable, dignified support. That founding vision still shapes every programme the Foundation runs today.

Pankaj Garg, Strategic Advisor & Director

As Strategic Advisor and Director, Pankaj Garg helps steer the Foundation's growth, partnerships and long-term direction, ensuring that its work stays sustainable and its impact keeps widening across Ludhiana.

Bhavna Goyal, Director

Director Bhavna Goyal brings warmth and rigour to the Foundation's day-to-day mission, keeping its programmes people-centred and accountable to the community they serve.

Together with Manager Aashu Chugh, this team turns intention into action. You can meet the wider team and read the full story on our About page.

Mentoring the next generation

Leadership at Nar Seva Foundation is not only about running the Foundation's own services - it is also about lifting up the young people who will carry social change forward. That is why BD Goyal, Pankaj Garg, Bhavna Goyal and Aashu Chugh served on the jury of the Dolphin Tank Student Startup Programme, evaluating 27 student teams who had researched real NGO challenges in Ludhiana.

On that panel they were joined by City-Needs founder Manit Dewan and Gulabhar Group of Institutions Chief Interview Officer Tilak Raj. The teams were judged on the relevance of their problem, impact potential, feasibility, budget justification, sustainability, and their own understanding and presentation - a demanding standard that pushes young innovators to think like the changemakers Ludhiana needs. You can read the full recap of that event in our post on the Dolphin Tank programme.

Service at the centre

What ties the Foundation's leadership together is a shared conviction that an NGO is only as strong as the trust it earns. Whether they are overseeing the free dialysis centre, planning outreach camps, or mentoring students, the leaders of Nar Seva Foundation lead by showing up - consistently, humbly and for the long term.

It is that steadiness, more than any single programme, that has made Nar Seva Foundation a name families in Ludhiana can rely on.
